PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Chamomile fabric by Morris & Co. — Authentic floral vine pattern in warm terracotta

The Chamomile fabric displays a refined, classic pattern of graceful vines that branch organically across the surface. Large, stylised flowers with radiant centres form calming anchor points between the delicate foliage. The colour palette combines warm terracotta and rust-brown hues on a soft, light background. The whole breathes a timeless elegance reminiscent of the arts-and-crafts movement, with a crafted attention to detail and a natural, flowing composition that radiates calm and refinement.

Timeless vine ornament with artisanal character

The Chamomile fabric fits perfectly in interiors that long for authenticity and a sense of historical depth. The pattern brings warmth and character to both classic and eclectic spaces, where it harmoniously complements furniture with wooden accents and natural materials. The refined line work and organic repetition of the motif give each room a considered, polished appearance without becoming imposing.

Warm, earthy colour nuances with soft contrasts

The Chamomile fabric is executed in a palette of rust-brown, terracotta and beige, with subtle variations that give the pattern depth and dimension. These earthy, natural tones create an enveloping, welcoming atmosphere and blend effortlessly with neutral interiors or richer accent colours.

Maintenance of curtain and furniture fabrics

To keep your curtains looking beautiful for a long time, regular and careful maintenance is important.

Avoid direct sunlight as much as possible, as this can cause discoloration over time. TIP! Make sure your curtains are lined; this protects the main fabric.

For light soiling, you can freshen up the fabric with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or excessive water. Always treat stains carefully and test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the fabric first.

Recommended maintenance products:

For curtain fabrics we recommend James products:

  • James Interior Cleaner – suitable for both natural and synthetic fabrics. Ideal for freshening curtains without damaging the fiber structure.
  • James Stain Wonder – helps remove stains, for example from contact or air pollution.

Apply the product to a white terrycloth towel, not directly onto the fabric, and dab gently. Let the fabric dry naturally, preferably out of direct sunlight.

Maintenance of furniture fabric

Furniture fabrics such as chair, sofa and cushion covers require regular care for a long life and a fresh appearance.

Vacuum the surface weekly with a soft brush attachment to remove dirt, hair, and dust. Rotate cushions regularly to prevent uneven wear and tear, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

In case of stains, it's important to act quickly: blot immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth (do not rub). For safe and effective cleaning, use James products, specially developed for upholstery fabrics:

  • James Interior Cleaner – freshens furniture upholstery and removes light soiling without damaging the fibers.
  • James Stain Wonder – ideal for removing stains caused by drinks, food remains or pets.

For a thorough cleaning or to remove stubborn stains, it's wise to have the fabric professionally cleaned. This will keep the fabric beautiful, supple, and fresh-colored.

Made to measure - your curtains made to measure

Our craftspeople dedicate themselves to their craft. They pay attention to every detail: the pleat, the lining, the finish—nothing is left to chance. Whether you choose airy linen curtains that softly filter daylight or heavy fabrics that bring warmth and tranquility, we ensure that every curtain drapes precisely as intended.

You can experience the fabrics for yourself at our Montfoort studio. We're happy to advise you on the perfect style, pleat, and finish, ensuring the perfect look for your space. Once your choice is finalized, the fabric is carefully crafted in our studio—with an eye for quality, craftsmanship, and a finish you can both see and feel.

The result? Curtains that not only hang beautifully but also add ambiance, comfort, and character to your interior.
