Blurred shadows of branches with hand-shaped leaves drift across irregular vertical bands that hint at wood grain or pleated fabric. In front of them stand thin, tall stems with small buds at the top: a group of three on the left, with five or six together further along. The background is painted and has a plaster-like texture. The shadows look photographic, while the stems are drawn with a fine line.

Colours of Cala wallpaper by INSTABILELAB

In colourway 01 the base is terracotta with a reddish-brown glow. The shadows fall across it in dark brown and the stems stand out in cream, giving the wall a warm, slightly earthy feel. Colourway 02 is considerably lighter: beige and taupe, with gray-green shadows and pure white stems. This creates a cooler, calm wall that pairs well with light wood and linen curtains. The INSTABILELAB wallpaper is also available in colourway 03, so you can choose from three shades.

INSTABILELAB wallpaper as a mural on a tall wall

Cala wallpaper is one continuous image without a pattern repeat, so every wall gets its own composition. In a tall room the stems reach from the floor to about three quarters of the wall height, which makes the space feel even taller. Alongside concrete, a narrow window overlooking greenery and simple wooden furniture, it works as a calm backdrop behind a low bookcase or a reading chair.
