You notice the structure straight away: an open basketweave that runs across the entire surface, without pattern or repeat. Small rust-brown blocks appear between the sand-coloured threads, scattered irregularly across the surface. Up close you see loose yarns and a slightly frayed edge. From a distance the whole reads as a warm, lively texture that feels calm without becoming dull.

Colours of Hey Rusty fabric in Naturale

The Naturale colourway builds on beige and sand, with cream and off-white in the top yarns. Fine grey-green threads run between them, and you only notice them when you come closer. They give the beige a cooler undertone. The rust-brown flecks echo the name and provide contrast. They are small, but their irregular distribution keeps the eye searching. The result is a fabric that looks natural and unpolished, warm in tone without becoming sweet.

Working with this Dedar fabric in your interior

Because there is no pattern, this Dedar fabric combines easily with calm plain shades and raw materials such as wood, stone and clay. On an armchair, a sofa or a set of cushions, the coarse texture adds relief to a room that would otherwise look flat. Want to see Hey Rusty fabric alongside other weaves?
