Some blocks end in a diagonal cut, others fray into loose thread ends. Between them run rows of short dashes, as if someone had traced the weave with needle and thread. Nowhere do you see a rigid repeat. The rhythm falters, picks up the thread again and keeps your eye moving.

Colours and texture of Untitled 1941 fabric

In the Naturale colourway, off-white forms the base, with cream and sand beige in the lighter bands. Light grey, anthracite and black provide contrast. Ochre yellow appears a few times as a warm accent, and here and there you will find a hint of dark brown leaning towards aubergine. The surface is anything but flat: slubs, raised threads and densely woven strips alternate. It looks hand-woven, with a relief you would rather touch than merely look at.

How this Dedar fabric works in a space

Because the pattern does not repeat regularly within the visible section, it reads more as a woven composition than as a motif. Ochre yellow and black give direction, while the light tones keep it calm. When light falls from the side, the Untitled 1941 fabric by Dedar reveals every slub and every thread. Against calm walls and alongside natural materials, that layering truly comes into its own.
