Description
Les Sauvages de la Mer Pacifique is a reproduction of a mural of the same name designed by Jean-Gabriel Charvett for Dufour. The mural, also known as Les Voyages du Capitaine Cook was first published in 1804. The battle in which Captian Cook was murdered on his third voyage in 1779 is shown in the background of panel 5 & 6. Named after the designer Charvet, this one is color a copy of the original color pallets used in 1804.
