In the foreground they appear as solid, sharply defined silhouettes. Behind them you see a hazy tree canopy viewed from below, as if you were looking up through a layer of mist in the forest. It is one continuous image without a repeat, so the wall reads as a single whole. There is no ground and there are no trunks, only canopy and light.

How Greta wallpaper fills a wall

The leaves are roughly the size of your hand or forearm, so the design still reads from the other side of the room. All the visual activity sits in the upper half. Towards the bottom, mostly light background remains, leaving room for a bath, washbasin or bed to stand in front of it. In the mood photo it hangs behind a freestanding white bath, between marble-look stools and a concrete-look floor. The soft, paper-like texture of the background adds some warmth to those cool materials.

Colours of INSTABILELAB wallpaper Greta

In colour 01 the leaves are taupe, a greyish brown that stays calm against the light grey, almost white background and the faint trees behind. Colour 02 renders the same branches in rust brown. This is warmer and offers more contrast, so the silhouette clearly comes to the fore. There is also a third colourway, 03.
