Long palm fronds with narrow, pointed leaflets shoot upwards, with feathery plumes in between and monstera leaves hiding in the background. It is one continuous image across the entire wall, with no pattern repeat. Individual leaves are well over a metre long, so you are looking at a life-size plant wall. The upper half stays empty, giving the foliage room to breathe.

Colours and imagery of Purpura wallpaper

The leaves look as if they were painted in gouache or ink. You can see brushstrokes and streaks in every leaf, as if the drawing had been transferred straight from paper onto the wall. Colour 01 sets dark red to burgundy palm leaves on an off-white background, with orange and ochre plumes and petrol green monstera leaves behind them. Colour 02 is more muted: rust brown and copper leaves with accents of yellow and khaki, blue monsteras and a light greige background.

Wall & Deco wallpaper behind a freestanding bath

In the bathroom in the photo, a white bath stands in front of the wall, with the taps mounted directly on the wallpaper. The red stands out against the wooden beamed ceiling and the stone floor, while the empty upper section keeps the room calm. One wall becomes the focal point and the rest can stay bare.
