The Rodney Street wallpaper from Little Greene’s Storybook Papers collection is a subtly playful design with a surprising origin. The naive lines reference a pair of charming mechanical apple-picking toys from the 20th century. These small objects form part of a larger collection at The Hardmans’ House – an authentically preserved 1950s home and former photographic studio in Rodney Street, Liverpool.
Inspired by vintage toys
