Place seams butt up; do not overlap.
Cut neatly at the top and bottom; remove excess glue immediately with a slightly damp sponge.
Allow to dry for 24 hours at 18–22 °C; avoid draught/moisture.
Maintenance
Paper wallpaper is a classic, natural product that requires careful handling. Because it's made entirely of paper, it's more susceptible to moisture and stains than more modern wallpapers like non-woven or vinyl. However, with proper care, it will remain beautiful and authentic for years to come.
Dust regularly: Remove dust with a feather duster or a soft, dry cloth. Avoid hard brushes or vacuum cleaners with a brush attachment, as these can damage the surface.
Avoid water and cleaning products: Paper wallpaper is not washable. Never clean it with a damp cloth or sponge; moisture can cause stains, bubbles, or peeling.
Prevent stains: Do not touch the wall with wet hands or liquids. Do not place furniture or lamps too close to the wall to prevent chafing and shiny spots.
Air circulation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the room to prevent temperature fluctuations and moisture buildup. This helps keep the paper nice and taut.
With a stable indoor climate, paper wallpaper retains its charm and texture for years. This keeps the wall fresh and vibrant without losing its authentic look.

Stain removal: Use a slightly damp sponge with lukewarm water. Avoid cleaning agents or abrasive sponges.
Protect seams: Never rub vigorously over seams or edges — this can damage the topcoat and cause polish marks.
Moisture and ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in damp areas to prevent mould from forming behind the wallpaper.

Maintenance
Acoustic wallpaper is designed to absorb sound while simultaneously giving the room a luxurious, soft feel. Thanks to its textile or felt-like texture, it's easy to maintain, but it does require some care.
Maintenance: Use a feather duster, a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment, or an adhesive roller to remove dust and small dirt particles. Some acoustic wall coverings have a protective top layer; in that case, you can wipe the wallpaper with a slightly damp cloth.
Stain removal: Dab gently with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or excessive water.
Avoid scrubbing: Don't rub the fabric or seams; this can loosen fibers or cause a difference in sheen.

Frequently asked installation questions
Important: Always read the enclosed wallpaper installation instructions carefully.
Not sure? Contact us!
What glue do I use for non-woven wallpaper?
Use non-woven wallpaper paste such as Arte Clearpro. Prime the wallpaper first for absorbent or powdery walls.
Can a seam appear in an inside corner?
No, that's not recommended. By extending a seam slightly over the corner, you prevent the wallpaper from peeling or visibly opening.
Can I wallpaper over latex/painted walls?
Yes, provided it adheres well. Lightly sand the wall; prime absorbent walls.
TIP! Test if your sauce has adhered well by applying a piece of tape and pulling it off. If the sauce comes off with it, it hasn't adhered properly.
Why not start wallpapering in the corner?
Walls are rarely perfectly square. Starting a guideline 50–60 cm from the corner prevents crooked sections and ensures a neat finish.
What is a jobs plan and why is it important?
With patterned wallpaper or natural/textile wallpaper, you decide beforehand how the design will be distributed across the wall. This ensures that the pattern stands out beautifully in visible areas and doesn't disappear into a corner. For natural/textile wallpaper, it's also important that the seams are evenly distributed across the wall. This creates a sense of calm.
What temperature and humidity are ideal when wallpapering?
Work at 18–22°C and approximately 40–60% RH. Avoid drafts and direct sunlight/heating. Close windows/doors while applying and allow to dry for 24 hours.
No pattern?
Pattern height 0 cm (free start). Work with a vertical line and butt seams.
How do I remove wallpaper?
Fleece: often peelable. Paper/vinyl on paper: often peelable (top layer dry, bottom layer wet).
