Why choose jute?
Natural look : a warm, organic look that brings many interiors to life.
Visual depth : texture plays with light, making walls appear less 'flat'.
Acoustically friendly : the fibers help reduce reverberation (expect subtle effects, not miracles).
A statement without a busy pattern : calmer than patterned wallpaper, richer than plain paint.
Colors & textures
Jute comes in colors ranging from natural and sand tones to warm gray and deeper brown. The weave determines the look:
Plain weave – calm, timeless; let the furniture do the talking.
Woven wider – more interplay of light and shadow, a more vibrant wall.
Tone-on-tone or melange – captures light beautifully, less sensitive to minor imperfections.
Styling tip: Combine with wood, linen, natural stone and matte-lacquered furniture. Avoid overly shiny accents; this way the focus remains on the texture.
Properties of Jute Wallpaper
Seams are (slightly) visible with textile wallpaper; that's normal.
Not scrub-resistant : only Dry clean (soft brush/vacuum cleaner with upholstery nozzle).
Avoid damp areas and direct, intense UV sunlight (may cause discoloration over time).
