Arcane wallpaper by Casamance: relief in arches and lines

The Arcane wallpaper collection by Casamance is all about relief. Arches, semicircles, wedge shapes and bundles of parallel lines are pressed tone-on-tone into the wall covering. The pattern only truly emerges when light sweeps across the wall. Colour plays a minor role, as the shadow in the grooves does the work. The collection features three patterns. Two of them share the same irregular composition, which looks entirely different in beige linen than in glossy caramel-coloured velvet. The third opts for a single arch that repeats endlessly. So you can choose between a composition full of variation and a rhythm that brings calm.

Patterns in the Arcane wallpaper collection

Linsolite wallpaper is the most subtle version. In the beige, matte linen, quarter circles, arches and line bundles are arranged in a grid-like repetition on a medium scale. Next to travertine and white bouclé, the wall remains light and soft. If you're looking for more warmth, take a look at Arcane wallpaper. Here the same composition appears in caramel- to ochre-coloured velvet, and the sheen of the velvet makes every groove deeper. In the mood image it follows a curved wall in a niche, beneath a brass ring chandelier. Volutis wallpaper goes in a different direction. Grey-green velvet carries an Art Deco motif of stacked concentric semicircles, like palmettes or scales, partly filled with vertical lines. The pattern is regular and runs like a wave across the surface, here stretched on a three-panel folding screen with a dark wooden frame.

Combining Arcane by Casamance in your interior

All three patterns are tone-on-tone, so you can confidently place furniture with a distinctive shape in front of them. The images show how round bouclé chairs, white ceramics and parquet in a chequerboard pattern tie in with the arches. Choose Linsolite for a light room and Arcane for a niche or corner that needs warmth. Volutis suits you if you want to use Casamance wallpaper away from the wall as well, such as on a folding screen.
