Babylon wallpaper collection Arte

Babylon wallpaper by Arte with tile-shaped relief

With the Babylon wallpaper collection you bring tile-shaped relief to your wall. Each pattern consists of square panels with visible seams, executed in one colour, so shape and shadow do the work. Arte found inspiration in Babylonia and the Middle East: date palms, ancient temples, sun-dried clay. The visual language ranges from undulating arches and geometric blocks to a complete scene with elephants. What binds the patterns is the light. As soon as a lamp or the sun brushes along the wall, every edge stands out more sharply.

Patterns in the Babylon wallpaper collection

Terracotta wallpaper covers the wall with small tiles full of concentric arches and wavy lines that twist in all directions like scales. The lines look hand-drawn and the matte terracotta colour refers to decorative pottery. The pattern continues, so you decide how much wall you cover. Adobe wallpaper is sleeker: large panels full of blocks with carved lines and triangles, grey with a light metallic sheen. The irregular relief creates a lively play of shadows, and the name refers to sun-dried clay bricks. Between Rivers wallpaper tells one story across multiple panels: elephants and gazelles between date palms, ferns and leafy vines, with a colonnade at the top as a remnant of an ancient temple. This off-white panorama is hung as a single set. Medjoul wallpaper revolves around leaves, inspired by the date palms of the Middle East. The sets connect to each other, so you can extend the pattern.

Combining Babylon by Arte in your interior

In the images you see how the collection reacts to what stands in front of it. The terracotta brown complements wood, cognac leather and sisal in a dining room with white pendant lamps. The grey Adobe is balanced by a palm and a dark blue side table. The white panorama of Between Rivers calls for space: rattan lamps, stone tables and plenty of greenery give the scene room to breathe. Because each pattern is monochrome, you can freely combine this Arte wallpaper with your furniture.
