Classics Collection Vol. II wallpaper by Cole and Son: blossom, flowers and branches
Classics Collection Vol. II wallpaper brings branches, blossoms and flowers to your wall. Each design is built up vertically on a light ground. Yet the patterns differ greatly. One design uses fine hatching, the next clean lines or patches reminiscent of watercolour. The density varies too, from a wall filled with flowers to branches with plenty of open space between them. This lets you choose a pattern within the Classics Collection Vol. II by Cole and Son that matches how busy or calm you want a room to feel.
Patterns in the Classics Collection Vol. II wallpaper collection
In Magnolia Tree Silk wallpaper, a twisted trunk winds upwards in an S-shape, with large-scale white magnolia flowers and buds. The drawing is finely hatched in greige and white on a light grey ground with horizontal ribbing, which keeps the contrast low. The magnolia tree returns in Magnolia Tree wallpaper. Paradise Tree wallpaper is much fuller: peonies, clusters, star-shaped flowers and thistles appear among leaves and berries, drawn in two shades of blue on pale pink. Chinese Branch wallpaper, by contrast, leaves plenty of space open. Rust-brown branches carry olive-green leaves with a watercolour-like mottled texture on cream. Three other patterns revolve around a single flower: poppies in a damask pattern in Poppies wallpaper, flowers hanging from slender stems in Fuchsia wallpaper and irises among repeating foliage in Iris wallpaper. Moss Trellis wallpaper offers a trellis motif as a counterpoint.
How Classics Collection Vol. II wallpaper looks on the wall
The bathroom photo of Paradise Tree shows what a busy blue pattern does behind dark wood. A black wooden table, a stone washbasin and an oval mirror with a brass frame gain more weight against it. The lighter patterns work the other way round: with Magnolia Tree Silk or Chinese Branch the wall stays calm and your furniture draws the attention. Which Cole and Son wallpaper you choose depends on the role you give the wall.
