Duet wallpaper collection Texam

Duet wallpaper by Texam: two line directions in linen

Duet wallpaper by Texam consists of two patterns that are each other's counterpart. Both are made from linen and show a play of lines in neutral shades, from beige and taupe to greyish-brown. The difference lies in the direction. One pattern draws your eye upward with vertical, wavy lines. The other lays calm horizontal stripes across the wall. This way, within the Duet wallpaper collection, you choose between a wall that stands out and a wall that recedes behind your furniture. The collection's name says it all: two voices, one colour palette.

Linum and Ramie in the Duet wallpaper collection

Linum wallpaper resembles flamed wood veneer. Fine, densely packed lines in light beige to pinkish-beige run in gentle waves over a greyish-brown background, from skirting board to ceiling, without any visible repeat. The contrast between light and dark is clear, making the wall appear taller. In the lifestyle photo it's shown behind a low chair with woven brown leather and a concrete coffee table, a combination that enhances the raw character of the pattern. Ramie wallpaper works on a smaller scale. Short, irregular stripes in beige and taupe with greyish-beige intermediate tones form a horizontal structure reminiscent of grasscloth. Up close you see lighter accents; from a distance the wall looks almost solid. Behind a suede headboard and a lamp with a white glass globe on a brass base, it remains quietly in the background.

Using Duet by Texam in the living room and bedroom

Choose Linum if you want to give one wall character, for example behind a seating area with wood, leather and concrete. Ramie suits spaces where you are looking for calm, such as behind the bed. Because both Texam patterns stay within the same neutral colour range, you can also use them side by side: vertical on the accent wall, horizontal on the other walls. This way, Duet by Texam makes two directions work together in one room.
