Essential Wallpaper collection Wall & Deco

Essential wallpaper by Wall & Deco: tone-on-tone texture

Essential wallpaper is all about what you see when light grazes across the wall: lines, grains and grooves in relief, without a figurative motif. Wall & Deco keeps the colour of each pattern close to a single tone, so the texture does the work. The palette runs from cream and light wood through dark brown with reddish-brown lines to anthracite and almost black. In the mood images, this wallpaper hangs behind marble, oak, ceramics and weathered plaster. There you can see what this collection was made for: a wall that feels calm from a distance and keeps revealing something new up close.

Patterns in the Essential wallpaper collection

Tavillon wallpaper builds the wall from small upright shingles in staggered rows, each with a fine vertical grain, in cream and beige. Komorebi wallpaper takes the other direction: dense horizontal stripes like grasscloth, dark brown with reddish-brown and black lines. Hoshi wallpaper works on a larger scale, with blocks of several decimetres in a basketweave pattern, filled with vertical and horizontal groove lines in anthracite. Ha wallpaper has a vertical texture. In Vago reloaded wallpaper, fine lines vary in thickness and spacing, and Asami wallpaper sets checks and lines in a geometric rhythm. Fossil wallpaper has a three-dimensional pixel texture and Kintsu reloaded wallpaper is inspired by kintsugi, the art of repairing broken ceramics with gold. The collection also includes Salina wallpaper, Fukuro wallpaper, Limo wallpaper, Mose wallpaper, Haru wallpaper, Hikari wallpaper, Ashi wallpaper and Yoku wallpaper.

Combining Wall & Deco Essential wallpaper in your space

The light Tavillon keeps a room open and is balanced by black marble or dark ceramics. Komorebi makes a wall warm and deep, and light oak and terracotta stand out beautifully against it. Hoshi seeks contrast with concrete, rough wood and the greenery outside. Because Essential wallpaper does not impose a repeating image, you can cover a single wall or an entire room without it ever feeling busy.
