House Small Prints II Wallpaper wallpaper by GP&J Baker: small flowers in block-print style

With House Small Prints II Wallpaper wallpaper, you choose small-scale patterns that reveal their design up close and create a calm texture on the wall from a distance. The floral patterns are stylised, as if block-printed, and sit on a light, cream-coloured ground. Yet each wall feels different. One pattern places its little flowers in a strict grid, another lets them grow freely and intermingle. GP&J Baker wallpaper from this range works well in smaller spaces such as a bedroom, bathroom or hallway, where a large motif can quickly become overwhelming.

Patterns in the House Small Prints II Wallpaper wallpaper collection

Penny wallpaper places a single small flower with a red head and green leaves in each square of an ochre-yellow grid, repeated in a strict, regular pattern. Flower Patch wallpaper works without a grid. Cream flowers, curling stems and leaves fill a green ground, with pink dots as flower centres and a slightly irregular, block-printed effect. Cecily wallpaper is built up of vertical bands of blue vines, in which round flowers in rust-red and light pink alternate. Across these designs, the dominant colour thus shifts from ochre through green to blue with red. The collection also includes Symington wallpaper, Dotty wallpaper, Ziggy wallpaper, Tetbury Stripe wallpaper, Tuffley wallpaper and Posy wallpaper, so you can mix and match within one range.

The images show how well the patterns work with furniture and accessories. Behind a red earthenware jug of wildflowers, Penny brings out the red in its flowers. Flower Patch hangs in a bedroom next to a green bedside table and a pink headboard, while Cecily, behind a blue freestanding bath, echoes the colour of the blue foliage.
