I'M Not Afraid fabric by Elitis: graphic patterns in warm colours

The I'M Not Afraid fabric by Elitis is all about graphic repetition and colour you don't hide away. Ears of grain, bundles of lines, blocks and colour gradients fill windows and entire walls, in ochre, coral, red, orange and turquoise. One fabric works with a recognisable figure, another with line, surface or a gradual transition. Together they form a collection for those who want to dress a window or an entire wall in fabric. You can use the patterns separately or combine them, because ochre, red and pink recur throughout.

Patterns in the I'M Not Afraid fabric collection

Lou fabric shows stylised ears of grain: a straight stem with rounded leaves, each with a dark green core, in staggered rows of ochre, mustard yellow and gold on cream. It is the only figurative pattern and the one with the smallest rhythm. Iggy fabric works with bundles of about six parallel lines that make U-turns and right-angle turns and interlock. Those lines are coral red and orange on transparent, olive to lime green linen. Holly fabric builds horizontal bands from rectangular areas with semicircles, ovals and herringbone leaves, tone-on-tone in red, orange and pink. Morrison fabric places beam-shaped elements in cognac and taupe with a diagonal ribbed texture on a natural background. Darling fabric transitions from turquoise at the top through blue and violet to soft pink at the bottom, on a lightly mottled weave.

How to combine I'M Not Afraid fabric at home

In the images, Lou hangs as a pleated curtain behind a dining table, with yellow and petrol green chairs on herringbone parquet and streaks of sunlight over the ears of grain. Holly hangs in front of a tall glass door in a white room with moulding, next to two ochre yellow teddy armchairs. In front of Iggy stands a coral-coloured bouclé armchair with black wooden armrests.
