Indienne wallpaper collection Zoffany

Indienne wallpaper by Zoffany: trees, feathers and flowers on the wall

Indienne wallpaper by Zoffany revolves around trees, feathers and flowers, rendered in a drawn, stippled visual language. What separates the patterns is primarily the scale. One fills an entire wall as a single continuous panorama, another reads as texture from a few metres away. The colour palette shifts accordingly, from light pastel with ochre gold to earth brown with indigo and cool grey-green. So within one collection you can choose between a wall that tells a story and a wall that mainly offers calm.

Patterns in the Indienne wallpaper collection

Lost Lands wallpaper is a continuous landscape without visible repeat: trees with stippled foliage, shrubs and a vague hill line in light green, soft pink and ochre gold on cream. Icarus wallpaper arranges small U-shaped feathers in dense, overlapping rows, in brown, rust red and ochre with indigo. Guinea wallpaper goes even smaller: white dots in feather-shaped patches on grey-green and blue-grey. Flowers and trees appear in Papaver stripe wallpaper with a poppy flower, Iliad wallpaper with gold accents and Artisan Palampore wallpaper, a botanical scene around a tree. Peacock Garden wallpaper shows a large-scale Indian garden, Marquetry Trellis wallpaper a geometric grid. Also part of this Zoffany range are Wallichi wallpaper, Tree of life wallpaper, Dabu stripe wallpaper, Mughal Menagerie wallpaper and Mughal Menagerie Textile wallpaper.

Indienne by Zoffany in a light or dark interior

In a studio with wooden bookshelves and an old work table, Lost Lands keeps the space light. Icarus hangs in a dark room with a wooden panel door, where the rust-red feathers together with an orange velvet chair provide warmth. Guinea forms a cool backdrop for an armchair with leaf print against dark panelling. If you choose Indienne wallpaper, the scale primarily determines what the wall does to the room.
