Les Tapisseries wallpaper by Arte: tapestries as wallpaper

Les Tapisseries wallpaper by Arte brings the visual language of old tapestries to your wall. Trees, flowering vines and birds take centre stage, in ochre, olive green, golden beige and blue-grey. The designs mimic the surface of woven textiles. Dense canopies appear in relief and behind the flowers a linen-like thread structure emerges. Some designs fill an entire wall as one continuous scene, others repeat and can even continue across the ceiling. This way you choose between a wall-sized painting and a pattern that envelops the space.

Bucolique wallpaper is a panorama without repetition. Large trees frame a pond with two swans, one of which spreads its wings, with a river behind. Escapade wallpaper and Récolte des Fleurs wallpaper are also panoramas, the first with a dreamy natural landscape, the second with flower pickers as the focal point. Floraison wallpaper captures its scene in an ornamental frame, like a painting on the wall. Bouquet wallpaper works on a small scale with tulip-like flowers, daisies and hidden birds in golden beige on an almost black olive ground. Ramage wallpaper shows trees with red pheasant-like birds, orange blossom and dark purple branches on a sand-coloured background. If you're looking for something more abstract, look at the flower forms of Ornement wallpaper and the botanical design of Collines wallpaper. Brocade wallpaper and Riverbank wallpaper complete the range.

The mood images show how these motifs work together with calm materials. With Bucolique and Ramage, rush seating and light wood stand on a poured floor, under an old beamed ceiling. Bouquet covers walls and ceiling simultaneously in a small study, giving the space a dark, enclosed shell. With Les Tapisseries wallpaper you give a study, hallway or living room a wall that holds the attention, while the furnishings around it can remain simple.
