Merida wallpaper collection Elitis

Merida wallpaper by Elitis: woven fibre in an earthy palette

The Merida wallpaper by Elitis is all about the fibre. On every wall you see a coarse, irregular fibre structure, even where a graphic pattern runs across the surface. The colours stay close to the earth: cream, ochre, sage green and copper. That's where the tension of the collection lies. One pattern lets only the structure speak; another places rings, blocks or checks over it. So within Merida by Elitis you choose between a calm background for your furniture and a wall that demands attention in its own right.

Patterns in the Merida wallpaper collection

Cesteria wallpaper has no pattern. The wall is cream to light yellow, with horizontal fibres that thicken and thin out, creating depth. In Pepite wallpaper, sage green rings are set in a tight grid, each with a white or copper-orange dot in the centre; between the rings, four-pointed cream-coloured stars emerge. Partitura wallpaper works with rectangles: rows of blocks, partly filled with vertical stripes in ochre, light grey and beige, which alternate in a rhythm of their own. Entrelazados wallpaper lays a geometric check pattern over the hand-woven raffia, and Sol wallpaper has a retro pattern made up of panels that together form a set. Where Cesteria brings calm, Pepite and Partitura give the wall a clear sense of structure.

Combining Elitis wallpaper with wood, leather and green

In the mood images, the Merida wallpaper is paired with warm materials. In front of Cesteria stands an orange velvet armchair on a dark wooden base, next to Pepite a sage green sofa with an orange cushion that picks up the copper dots. Partitura hangs behind a low daybed of cognac-coloured leather. If you choose your cushions and throws in the same ochre and copper colours as the wall, the room will naturally gain cohesion.
