Metal X Patina wallpaper by Arte with trowelled plaster and weathered concrete

The Metal X Patina wallpaper by Arte imitates surfaces that have been worked with tools and marked by time. You see trowelled plaster, sanded concrete and weathered panels, each with dark speckles that give the surface depth. The patterns differ mainly in direction. One pattern curves in broad arcs, another runs vertically from ceiling to floor and a third divides the wall into large rectangles. The colour also shifts, from warm copper through grey-purple to light grey. This way you can choose between movement and calm within a single collection.

Patterns in the Metal X Patina wallpaper collection

Impasto wallpaper shows large, overlapping arcs in copper, built up from fine grooves, as if someone had swept a broad brush through wet plaster. Each arc is about as wide as a lampshade. In Alepine wallpaper, weathered stripes in a lighter grey run vertically over a grey-purple background, with no noticeable repeat. Platinum wallpaper divides the wall into large light-grey panels with visible seams, mottled with mid and dark grey, like a wall of poured concrete. Quilt wallpaper lays a fabric patchwork over metal foil, covered with a thin layer of plaster. Chalk Stone wallpaper brings limestone to the wall in a tile pattern.

Combining Metal X Patina by Arte with wood and textiles

The images show how well these walls work with wood and natural textiles. Impasto's copper is paired with oak, off-white canvas and a red and blue Persian rug. Alepine gets dark wooden armchairs with white bouclé and a jute rug, Platinum a dark round table with tub chairs in terracotta and pink. Because this Arte wallpaper already has plenty of texture, you can keep the furniture simple.
