Origine wallpaper collection Elitis

Origine wallpaper by Elitis: walls with the texture of fabric

Origine wallpaper is about structure rather than pattern. In the Origine wallpaper collection by Elitis you won't find flowers or figures, but rather weaves and fibres in natural shades, from cream and light yellow to taupe and anthracite. Up close you can almost count the threads: thicker strands that fall slightly out of step, fine stripes that run horizontally and vertically across the surface, loops that rise above the base like small nubs. From a distance the wall reads as a calm plane with depth. In this way a room gains the warmth of textiles without a pattern demanding attention.

Patterns in the Origine wallpaper collection

Cesteria wallpaper is a fine weave in cream and light yellow, with irregular thicker threads and subtle striping in both directions. Iranja wallpaper has the same linear character in anthracite and dark grey, shot through with thin beige and gold-coloured threads. Contrepoint wallpaper is coarser: cream-white loops in a regular grid on a taupe-brown base, almost like bouclé. Innocent wallpaper combines a linen look with a subtle plaster-like relief, while Lin Mural wallpaper shows the appearance of woven linen. Epi wallpaper has an earthy structure reminiscent of worked clay. Shibui wallpaper and Asvata wallpaper are understated, layered textures with nuances you only see on closer inspection. The collection also includes Alphabet wallpaper, Trenza wallpaper, Triveni wallpaper, Icone wallpaper, Enlace wallpaper and Rafta wallpaper by Elitis.

Elitis wallpaper in interiors: wood, velvet and wickerwork

In the interior images you see how this wall covering responds to what stands in front of it. Cesteria forms a light background for a terracotta velvet lounge chair, dark wood and a tall green plant. Iranja gives a black woven chair and golden candelabras a dark wall to stand out against, next to a white wall and a concrete staircase. Choose light shades and you let your furniture speak. With anthracite the wall itself becomes the setting.
