Otillo Wallcoverings Wallpaper Collection Romo

Otillo Wallcoverings wallpaper by Romo: fibre, dot and ikat

With Otillo Wallcoverings wallpaper you bring home a wall that evokes craftsmanship and natural materials. The collection by Romo revolves around a beige base and a tactile surface, from a plain fibre texture to a dotted pattern and a large ikat design. In the photos you see this line reflected in a bathroom with a marble sink and brass taps, a light dining area by a tall window and a wall corner with a small bronze-toned table. The wallpaper sets the tone, while the space around it can remain calm.

Patterns in the Otillo Wallcoverings wallpaper collection

Ciro Abaca Embossed wallpaper is a vinyl that resembles woven abaca: fine horizontal fibre lines in beige and taupe, so small in scale that the wall looks plain. Esai Seagrass Embossed wallpaper belongs to the same family of natural textures, and its name refers to seagrass. Nivu wallpaper consists of small elongated dots in curved, fan-shaped rows, off-white on beige-taupe. Manzu wallpaper is the odd one out, with vertical drops full of faded ikat-style zigzag strokes that are offset from drop to drop, shown in the photo in petrol blue on off-white. Otillo wallpaper works with a small ikat motif on an embossed background. Zenya wallpaper and Nyla wallpaper are geometric patterns with a tactile texture. Etsu wallpaper and Tali wallpaper are semi-plains with relief, with Etsu having a subtle metallic sheen.

Combining Otillo Wallcoverings by Romo in your interior

If you're looking for a calm wall, Ciro, Tali or Etsu suit marble, brass and aged wood, as in the bathroom in the photo. Nivu gives a wall corner movement without it becoming busy. If you want the wall to do the talking, Manzu does just that with its large ikat drops. In that case, keep furniture and textiles in white and natural tones, with a striped upholstery fabric at most. This way, Otillo Wallcoverings wallpaper remains the foundation of the space.
