Palatino wallpaper by Casamance: textile with texture and lustre

Palatino wallpaper brings textile to your wall in three very different forms. In one pattern, bronze feather lines run across an aubergine background; in another, you see only a fine horizontal weave in blue-green. The title pattern comes in beige and gold, with marks reminiscent of tree bark. What binds the collection is the visible thread in every surface and an image that continues without beginning or end. So you choose mainly by colour and by how much movement you want on the wall.

Patterns in the Palatino wallpaper collection

Ornementa wallpaper is graphic in design. Wide vertical panels each have a central rib from which diagonal lines fan out to both sides. The botanical embroidery sits on woven sisal and catches the light here and there. Venizia wallpaper abandons the motif completely. You see a matte, plain wall in which the horizontal threads differ slightly in colour. The title pattern Palatino wallpaper is a jacquard of three yarns, with irregular vertical stripes in dark gold on a linen-like ground. It suggests peeling plasterwork, but in textile. Nastro wallpaper follows the undulating movement of a ribbon and plays with light and shadow by placing matte and satin sections next to each other.

Combining Palatino by Casamance with stone and wood

In the images, this Casamance wallpaper hangs alongside travertine, onyx and rose quartz. This works because the walls have the same layered quality as natural stone. Ornementa gains depth from gold and bronze, like wall discs or a copper-coloured vase. Venizia keeps things calm and lets glazed ceramic and light stone speak. If you're looking for a wall that anchors the entire room, the title pattern with its bark-like marks fits well with warm herringbone parquet and a bronze lamp.
