Pamir wallpaper collection Elitis

Pamir wallpaper by Elitis: horizontal silk texture in earth tones

With Pamir wallpaper you give a wall a texture of fine horizontal stripes, familiar from raw silk. The colours stay close to the earth: taupe, brown, olive green, mustard, ochre and gold. Within that calm base, the composition varies greatly. One pattern is a plain surface in which only the seams gently differ in tone, another a composition of rectangles that slide over each other. Pamir by Elitis is shown in the images in a dining area with rattan chairs and behind a bed on a stone plinth. You choose between calm and rhythm.

Patterns in the Pamir wallpaper collection

Forever II wallpaper is the calm centre of the collection: a plain taupe-brown wall with a horizontal fibre texture, here behind an oval stone table under a copper pendant lamp. In Transgression wallpaper rectangles and squares ranging from palm-sized to knee-high overlap in olive green, mustard and gold, executed in silk. Tashkent wallpaper places smooth grey-beige rectangles in a regular grid, with gold-ochre strips in between whose relief constantly changes direction. Zenith wallpaper works with large colour blocks and clean geometric shapes. Shiraz wallpaper has a block pattern that appears hand-set, with a sheen that shifts as you walk along the wall. Talisman wallpaper builds squares in layers and lets the colours blend into each other with a subtle sheen.

Combining Elitis wallpaper with stone, rattan and wood

In the images you see how Pamir wallpaper goes with the materials around it. Travertine and terrazzo tie in with the grey and beige tones, while rattan weave and dark wood bring out the brown and gold. If you choose Transgression or Tashkent, the wall itself becomes the focal point and the rest can remain understated. With Forever II you leave room for a copper lamp or a coloured rug.
