Pandan Leaves - Linen Wallcovering collection CMO Paris

Pandan Leaves - Linen Wallcovering wallpaper by CMO Paris: palm leaf and linen in stripes

The Pandan Leaves - Linen Wallcovering wallpaper is all about texture. In this collection by CMO Paris, palm leaves are combined with linen, and you see that on the wall as a dense series of horizontal strands. There is no motif or pattern repeat, only lines that vary in thickness from a few millimetres to about a centimetre. The fibres have a subtle sheen, so the wall never looks completely flat. This is wallpaper for those who want a wall to speak through material rather than through a design.

Vacao Lin in the Pandan Leaves - Linen Wallcovering wallpaper collection

The pattern in this collection is Vacao Lin wallpaper. Irregular strands in beige and golden brown lie tightly next to each other on a dark background ranging from petrol blue to blue-green. That dark base shows through between the fibres. As a result, the wall looks layered up close; from a distance, it reads as a dark surface with golden lines. In the lifestyle photo you see three strips side by side in subtly different shades, with the right-hand strip slightly bluer and lighter. The vertical seams remain visible and divide the horizontal lines into panels. Behind a solid console table of weathered wood, with off-white and beige ceramics on top, the contrast between the rough wood and the glossy fibres comes into its own.

How to combine CMO Paris wallpaper made of palm leaf and linen

Because the pattern has no figurative motif, it leaves room for what stands in front of it. In the photo, this works with materials in the same earthy vein: weathered wood, a vase in brown and rust, branches of spindle with red-orange leaves and pink berries. The dark petrol-blue shade makes light ceramics and warm wood stand out nicely. If you choose the Pandan Leaves - Linen Wallcovering wallpaper for an entire wall, the horizontal stripes bring calm and a sense of width.
