Ray wallpaper by Masureel: nature in rust, terracotta and green

Ray wallpaper by Masureel brings forest, foliage and layered earth to your wall. What binds the patterns is a warm palette of rust, terracotta and copper, complemented by green and blue-grey. Within that, the scale varies considerably: from a painted forest that fills an entire wall to a fine line pattern that you only see properly up close. The degree of abstraction also differs. Some designs show recognisable leaves and trunks, others stick to flowing lines or a plain surface. This way you can choose between an eye-catcher and a calm background within one collection.

Patterns in the Ray wallpaper collection

Taiga wallpaper is a panoramic wall mural of a painted forest, with tree trunks, bromeliad-like foliage plants and, in the centre, a pool of water in which everything is reflected. Flat brushstrokes in orange, rust red, olive green and petrol blue lie on a visible linen texture. Biome wallpaper features a fine line drawing of banana leaves, ferns, flowers and seed pods in white and light pink on terracotta pink, tone-on-tone and densely repeated. Lucence wallpaper is more abstract: irregularly flowing lines in aubergine brown on a copper-red ground, like wood grain or sediment layers. In Unda wallpaper, flowing, undulating lines in a panoramic design take centre stage, and Motus wallpaper lets lines and shapes cross each other as if a brush had been swept across the wall. Kos wallpaper is plain and forms the calm base alongside the expressive patterns.

The photos show how versatile Masureel wallpaper is. Taiga fills a café wall behind marble tables and black bentwood chairs, where the gold of the vases and the floor lamp picks up the orange tones. Biome is accompanied by a brown bouclé armchair in almost the same colour, so that wall and chair blend together. Against Lucence, by contrast, a light blue vase stands out. Warm wood, velvet and cool accents always find their place alongside Ray wallpaper.
