Reale wallpaper collection Texam

Reale wallpaper by Texam: velvet in earth tones

With Reale wallpaper you bring stucco, crinkled textile and natural stone to your wall, rendered in soft velvet. Reale by Texam has no flowers, figures or ornaments. What you see are patches, fold lines and stripes in beige, greige, taupe and greyish-brown. Up close it looks like a stuccoed wall or a slab of stone, and as soon as you run your hand over it you feel that it's fabric. That ambiguity makes the patterns suitable for spaces where you want calm without the wall looking bare.

Patterns in the Reale wallpaper collection

Casanova wallpaper has a cloudy stucco effect in beige and greige: light and dark patches with no set direction, calm enough for a large wall behind the sofa. Sforza wallpaper is taupe with a mauve undertone and resembles crinkled paper, with fine wavy lines and irregular folds that run predominantly vertically. An angled light beam brings out those lines beautifully. Medici wallpaper features vertical bands in greyish-brown, like those you see in travertine. Belvedere wallpaper also refers to stone: the velvet has been laser-worked to create a pattern that resembles marble. Visconti wallpaper opts for a pronounced stripe motif and is therefore more graphic than the rest.

Combining Texam wallpaper in earth tones

Casanova, Sforza and Medici stick to earth tones and therefore combine well with natural materials. In the lifestyle images, Casanova is shown alongside green bouclé and light wood, Sforza alongside white marble and Medici alongside walnut with black accents. If you choose Reale wallpaper, your wall gains depth through texture and not through colour. If you want more contrast, place Visconti or Belvedere next to a plain wall in a related shade.
