Sangpi wallpaper by Elitis: rectangles, embossing and paintwork

Sangpi wallpaper by Elitis builds your wall from rectangles in all kinds of sizes, laid vertically and horizontally over each other like patchwork. The surface has embossing and a mottled texture reminiscent of leather. The light catches on the edges of each plane. This structure recurs throughout the collection. Sometimes it plays the leading role, sometimes it forms the background for large painted panoramas with abstract colour blocks or an abundance of plants. So you choose between a calm wall in one colour family and a wall that works like a painting.

Patterns in the Sangpi wallpaper collection by Elitis

The title pattern Sangpi wallpaper shows the structure in its pure form. It is dark green with lighter green and blue-green patches, tone-on-tone, so that the wall looks layered without any motif on top. Aspirations Fusionnelles wallpaper places wide, vertical stripes over it, painted like brushstrokes, in yellow, pink, orange, purple, burgundy and grey on off-white. With L'Eden et Apres wallpaper the image becomes figurative: stems, leaves and white lilies, painted loosely and on a large scale in ochre, olive green, brown and light blue. Brumes Laquees wallpaper is an abstract panorama with a misty character, in which sky and space merge into each other. Terres Lointaines wallpaper works with a large-scale composition of abstract planes that give the wall depth.

Elitis wallpaper with embossing in kitchen, living room and dining nook

The lifestyle images show how the patterns interact with their surroundings. The green Sangpi finds an echo in a kitchen island of green marble, with a pink door as a contrasting colour. Aspirations Fusionnelles runs across an entire living room wall behind a white sofa and a black tubular chair. L'Eden et Après fills a dining nook in a frame of red marble, where a black oval table stands out sharply against the ochre tones. With Sangpi by Elitis you choose a wall that sets the tone itself.
