Sisal Wallcovering collection CMO Paris

Sisal Wallcovering wallpaper from CMO Paris: natural fibre in three compositions

The Sisal Wallcovering wallpaper collection from CMO Paris shows how much character there is in a woven natural fibre. On every wall the sisal itself remains visible: the fibres catch the light and give the surface depth, even where there is no pattern. Within that single base you choose from a plain wall in beige with a hint of pink, a diamond pattern in dark brown and taupe with gold-coloured lines, or a grid of squares in brown tones with black accents. The palette stays close to wood and earth, making the patterns work well with walnut, marble and concrete.

Patterns in the Sisal Wallcovering wallpaper collection

Sisal wallpaper is the understated starting point: plain sisal with fine horizontal fibres in beige to light pink. The vertical seams remain visible, giving the wall a rhythm of panels. Next to walnut cabinet doors and a marble skirting, the warmth of the material comes out beautifully. Sisal Losange wallpaper features upright diamond shapes that are each vertically divided into a light and a dark half. This makes the wall appear faceted, and thin gold-coloured V-lines along the bottom edges draw the pattern upward like a series of arrows. Here the fibres run diagonally. Sisal Carre wallpaper builds a grid of squares of approximately 25 cm in light and dark brown tones. Because the fibre direction alternates per square, the surface looks like a large weave, interrupted by short black bars.

Combining CMO Paris wallpaper with gold, black and wood

With this CMO Paris wallpaper you shape the space mainly through what you place in front of it. Sisal Losange pairs with a gold sunburst mirror and side tables with gold-coloured trim, which echo the metallic lines in the wall. Sisal Carre gets a black desk and a black wall next to it, repeating the bars in the pattern. If you want to let the material speak without a pattern, combine the plain variant with walnut and marble.
