Terra wallpaper by Arte: geometric relief in earth tones

With Terra wallpaper by Arte, your wall gets a relief you can trace with your fingers. Each pattern comes in a single colour, an earth tone. The shapes are geometric, but they never look cold. Two patterns have a crinkled surface that resembles weathered plaster, while the third consists of fine grooves. In the images, this Arte wallpaper hangs among natural stone, raw wood and concrete, and that's where it comes into its own. Only when the light falls from the side does the relief become truly visible.

Patterns in the Terra wallpaper collection

Arcane wallpaper is terracotta brown and built up from vertical strips of about a hand's width. In these, semicircles, arches, trapezoids and stepped planes alternate, bordered by impressed lines. It looks like a series of loose fragments that still form one wall. Arcilla wallpaper is calm and regular: a cream-coloured grid of squares with rounded corners and raised edges, each section about the size of a tile. Carvato wallpaper is ochre yellow and busier in appearance. Fine parallel grooves lie in small blocks that constantly change direction, sometimes in a fan shape, with diamonds and zigzag bands in between. This gives the wall a patchwork quality. Chimu wallpaper completes the series with a design that draws on ancient Peruvian stonework with mythical figures.

Combining Terra wallpaper with wood, stone and concrete

The images show which spaces these patterns belong in. Arcane hangs behind a wooden desk under a beamed ceiling, next to stone steps. Arcilla forms the backdrop of a concrete-like bench on which sunlight falls through the sheer curtains. Carvato hangs behind a rough table on trestles with tree-trunk stools around it. If you choose Terra by Arte, the relief stands out well on a wall where daylight grazes it from the side.
