Textile Wallcovering II wallpaper by Dedar: pattern on a linen base

The Textile Wallcovering II wallpaper by Dedar brings together four patterns that each work with a textile-like base in their own way. Under each motif, the weave structure of the linen remains visible, and that gives the wall depth, even where the pattern is closely spaced. The colours come from earth and stone: ochre, terracotta, greyish beige, black and off-white, complemented by pink and silver grey. What distinguishes the patterns from each other is the visual language. You choose between a tight grid, a wall with loose pixels, a drawn city or almost nothing more than the fabric itself.

Patterns in the Textile Wallcovering II wallpaper collection

De-Da-Do wallpaper works with pure geometry: small circles, rings and half arches interlock in a tight grid, drawn with thin contour lines in pink, terracotta, white and dark brown on beige. Up close you see shapes, from a distance mainly rhythm. Qb Wall wallpaper, by contrast, leaves a lot of open space. Small squares, alone or in pairs, in orange, ochre, black, white and silver grey are dotted loosely across a plain greyish beige ground with a visible weave structure. It looks like scattered pixels. Altronde wallpaper draws an ideal city full of facades with arched windows, stairs, roofs, cypresses, cacti and small figures, isometrically drawn and interlocked in ochre, gold, black and grey. Mandolino Wall wallpaper is the calm centre of the collection: here it's all about the natural texture of the linen itself.

Combining Textile Wallcovering II by Dedar in your interior

Because the colours come from the same earthy palette, you can easily combine the patterns with natural materials. The photos show how that works: a glass table with a black base for the tight grid of De-Da-Do, a white wooden lounger on sisal for Qb Wall, a bouclé chair for the busy city of Altronde. This Dedar wallpaper calls for a single piece of furniture that gives the wall space to breathe, not a fully furnished room.
