Texture Resource 9 wallpaper collection Thibaut

Texture Resource 9 wallpaper by Thibaut: texture, basketweave and botanical patterns

The Texture Resource 9 wallpaper by Thibaut is a collection in which texture does the work. Most patterns have no motif. You see fine horizontal fibre lines, small woven blocks, woven linen and tweed or brushstrokes that flow like water across the wall. In addition, there is a botanical pattern with thin twigs and round buds on a glossy background. The colours remain muted, from light blue-grey to taupe and grey-brown. Each pattern continues without a focal point. As a result, it fills the wall evenly and keeps the attention on what stands in front of it: a vase of sunflowers, a dining table or a mirror.

Patterns in the Texture Resource 9 wallpaper collection

The Taluk Sisal wallpaper mimics grasscloth with closely spaced horizontal fibres, in light blue-grey in the photo. The Linen Weave wallpaper has a thick woven linen look. The Copenhagen wallpaper resembles tweed in two coordinated shades. With the Saddle Weave wallpaper, the strands run in small blocks alternately diagonally left and right, like a basket weave in taupe with dark lines. Tonal horizontal lines define the Tenaya wallpaper. The Grand Falls wallpaper lets brushstrokes flow in different shades. The Katamari wallpaper consists of hand-laid squares of metal leaf. The Katamari Bud wallpaper lays thin twigs with white and light blue buds over it. You will also find in this collection the Bristlecone wallpaper, Kissimmee wallpaper, Twillingate wallpaper, Town Bank wallpaper, Hampshire wallpaper and Palmier wallpaper.

How Thibaut wallpaper from Texture Resource 9 looks on the wall

The mood images show how calmly these walls behave. Behind a white ribbed vase with yellow sunflowers, the light blue-grey sisal texture remains a calm surface. The taupe basketweave gives brown apothecary bottles and a round metal pot a warm background. In a dining room with cream-coloured chairs and white sheer curtains, the white twigs continue into the corner. Whichever pattern you choose, the wall supports the interior without taking over.
