Traversee wallpaper collection Casamance

Traversee wallpaper by Casamance with the warmth of walnut and oak

With Traversee wallpaper you bring the look of inlaid wood to your wall, in shades from honey brown to deep walnut brown. The Traversee collection by Casamance plays with grain, direction and scale. Sometimes the wood itself remains the subject, with nothing more than fine vertical stripes. Sometimes it becomes a graphic pattern of arcs and circles that fills an entire wall. And sometimes thin gold-coloured lines divide the veneer into hexagons. This way, within one collection, you can choose between calm and striking decoration, from a reading nook to a living room with high walls.

Patterns in the Traversee wallpaper collection

Ebony wallpaper is the most understated choice: a plain wood look with fine vertical grain in medium brown to red-brown, built up from panels that differ slightly in colour, like veneer strips placed side by side. The Traversee wallpaper design works on a large scale. Arcs approximately one metre high in light oak tones are set side by side in a staggered arrangement, with circles and semicircles in dark walnut and curved horizontal bands in between. Honey brown, grey-brown and purple-brown alternate. Mythique wallpaper is finer: hexagons filled with fan-shaped rays, bordered by thin gold-coloured lines on walnut brown with a constantly changing grain direction. Sonate wallpaper shows a monochrome pattern of organic shapes. Splendeur wallpaper opts for a geometric design and Majeste wallpaper forms a mosaic of palmettes with metallic accents.

Combining Casamance wallpaper with marble, velvet and brass

In the images you can see how well this wood look goes with natural stone and soft fabrics. Next to the plain Ebony, an onyx side table and a dark brown swivel chair get all the attention. Traversee gives rhythm to a high wall behind a beige tufted sofa, while Mythique, with its gold lines, matches a brass lamp, green marble and a velvet pouf. Whether you choose calm or pattern, the warm brown remains the common thread.
