Velatura wallpaper collection Elitis

Velatura wallpaper by Elitis: relief, sheen and rib

With Velatura wallpaper you choose walls that you feel rather than see. Elitis places the emphasis here on texture and light, less on a printed motif. One pattern has a deep relief with a grainy, suede-like surface, another a smooth metallic sheen or a fine vertical rib. The colours remain calm and plain: taupe, golden brown, dark petrol green. As a result, a wall changes with each hour of the day, depending on how the light falls across it. If you love calm but don't want a bare wall, this is perfect for you.

Patterns in the Velatura wallpaper collection

The Boudoir suédine wallpaper shows raised, rounded rectangles of varying width and height, arranged in rows separated by narrow lines. It is large in scale, completely taupe and resembles a bookcase. Cocoon wallpaper is plain and golden brown, with a satin-like metallic sheen that shifts from light to almost black under angled light. Arpeggio wallpaper has the fine vertical ribs of corduroy in dark petrol green, with irregular patches where the light catches. In Shinrin wallpaper it's all about branches and leaves and the light that falls through them. Herbier wallpaper combines a matt relief texture with a botanical feel, while Kasumi wallpaper has an organic texture reminiscent of misty landscapes. So in the Velatura wallpaper collection, plain textures stand alongside patterns in which nature is the subject.

Combining Velatura by Elitis with wood and ceramics

In the images you see how these walls work with dark wood, rush, glass and ceramics. The taupe relief of Boudoir gives a wooden bench a calm background, while Cocoon catches the light around a single object. The petrol green of Arpeggio works on large panels around wooden cabinets, where a pink accent or a light vase stands out even more. Because no pattern has a busy motif, you can combine this Elitis wallpaper with distinctive furniture.
