Description
Beautiful peonies were painted by Lorraine Breger in the Zoffany studio using a traditional watercolor technique with layers of colors painstakingly applied to create the subtlest shade of pink to rich carmine tones. Combining life studies with a layout taken from a 19th century cotton chintz archival document, this modern version is digitally printed on non-woven wallpaper in two colors that also exist as printed fabrics.
