Azahar wallpaper with watercolour branches on a warm background

With Azahar wallpaper, a row of slender brown branches runs from the skirting board up to the ceiling. Oval leaves with serrated edges hang from short side shoots, with a small orange spike tucked in between here and there. Everything is painted in watercolour on a mottled background that looks like old paper or lime plaster. Despite the name, you won't find any blossom in it. The branches are spaced about 20 to 30 cm apart and the leaf clusters are roughly the size of your hand. This leaves plenty of breathing space between the lines.

Colours of Azahar wallpaper: from ochre to sage

In Ocre, the design sits on an ochre to mustard yellow ground. The branches are light brown, the leaves olive and sage green, and the orange spikes just stand out against them. Musgo reverses the balance: a grey-green, sage-coloured background with grey-brown branches, green and ochre leaves and red-orange spikes. This Coordonne wallpaper is also available in Rosado, Piedra, Celadon and Ultramar, six colourways in total. Compare them side by side in the Coordonne wallpaper collection.

Azahar wallpaper by Coordonne in a dining room with wood and rattan

In the mood photo, it covers the walls of a dining room with a dark wooden beam and an arched doorway. The ochre wall catches the sunlight at the deep windowsill and reflects it back warmly. A table with a dark green cloth, a rattan pendant light and terracotta pots echo the colours in the design. Because the branches run vertically, they draw your eye upwards — handy under a low ceiling.
