Prism Texture wallpaper Greenland

Prism Texture wallpaper by Greenland with hexagons and facets

Prism Texture wallpaper places dark hexagons alongside large triangles and trapeziums with rounded corners, all outlined by narrow silver joints. The lighter areas are divided into segments whose fine lines each run in a different direction. As a result, every surface catches the light differently and the wall takes on something of a cut stone. The pattern is medium to large in scale and repeats calmly, so a full wall gains rhythm without becoming busy. The look draws on grasscloth and wood veneer, with dense fibrous lines you will want to touch.

Colours and combinations for Prism Texture wallpaper

Taupe and greyish brown form the base. The hexagons recede into a deep aubergine that becomes almost blackish brown. Here and there a rust-brown fibre lights up, and the silver joints give the whole a cool line with subtle relief. Combine with warm grey or sand-coloured paint, dark-stained oak or walnut and natural stone with a matt finish. Textiles in cognac, olive or off-white bring out the warm undertone, while brushed metal echoes the silver of the joints.

Rooms and walls for this Greenland wallpaper

Behind the bed or sofa, the faceted effect really comes into its own, because you view it from a distance and see the light shift. In a dining room, study or hallway with raking light, the pattern becomes a calm focal point with character. If you opt for a full wall, keep the rest of the room simple. The design belongs to the Aroma Silk wallpaper collection by Greenland, and at Selected Wallpapers you can view it alongside the other patterns from that range.
