Star Silk wallpaper Greenland

Star Silk wallpaper by Greenland: woven sheen for your wall

Star Silk wallpaper gives your wall the calm depth of woven textile, without a pattern demanding attention. Fine horizontal threads run across the full width, interrupted by small slubs and short light streaks that catch the light. Up close you see the weave; from a distance you see one continuous field of colour with a soft sheen. Because there is no pattern repeat, a large wall looks just as calm as a narrow niche. The seams are faintly visible, which actually emphasises the textile character.

Colours of Star Silk wallpaper

This Greenland wallpaper comes in 41 colourways, from white, silver and sand to blue, green, red, purple and brown. Deep indigo blue with grey-blue threads gives a living room a sense of weight. Combine it with limestone, walnut and ecru linen. White is an off-white with a creamy glow and faint pale yellow lines, lovely alongside lime paint and light oak. Silver Filigree, a grey-green shade with white slub threads, pairs well with sea-green textiles, grey natural stone and matt black metal.

Where Star Silk wallpaper by Greenland looks its best

Thanks to the soft sheen, the wall changes with the daylight. That works well in a living room or bedroom, where you look at the wall for longer. Choose a light colour behind the bed for tranquillity, or a dark shade around the dining table for a sense of intimacy. A hallway or study gains depth from it too. All shades are in the Greenland wallpaper collection, and at Selected Wallpapers we help you choose the colour that suits your light and interior.
