PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Straw Stripe wallpaper by Greenland: a woven wall in three shades
With Straw Stripe wallpaper, your wall takes on the look of a coarsely woven cloth. Irregular horizontal threads, small slubs and loose fibres run across the strip without a recognisable pattern. This keeps the surface calm yet lively. Up close you can see every thread. From a distance the wall reads as a single shade with depth. That makes this Greenland wallpaper a good base for a room you go on to complete with art, textiles or furniture.
Colours of Straw Stripe wallpaper: from oat to espresso
Chalky Oat is light beige and cream, mottled with light brown and greige threads. It looks soft and pairs well with off-white, light oak and limestone. In the colourway Straw Stripe, the greyish-brown lines stand out more clearly and regularly against the cream background. Combine it with sandstone, raw linen and black metal for some contrast. Burnt Espresso is almost black, with olive-brown fibre accents that light up in raking light. Set it against walnut, cognac leather and warm brass.
Where Greenland wallpaper with a woven texture comes into its own
In the living room, a light colour scheme brings calm to every wall. Burnt Espresso, by contrast, envelops a feature wall or alcove and makes the room feel more intimate. The horizontal line also works well behind the bed in the bedroom or in a study, as it visually widens a wall.
