Viridian wallpaper Inkiostro Bianco

Viridian wallpaper: a painted mountain landscape across your entire wall

Viridian wallpaper by Inkiostro Bianco brings a painted mountain ridge indoors, with a light, hazy sky at the top and wooded slopes filling the wall. It is one continuous image with no pattern repeat. At the top left, the summit stands out against white-pink mist, while below it trees rise in long vertical brushstrokes. A reddish-brown band runs through the middle, and a yellow-green patch lights up at the bottom right. Up close you can see the coarse brushstrokes and a fine vertical texture, as if you were looking at canvas.

Colourways of Viridian wallpaper: Smeraldo and Blue

In Smeraldo, emerald and dark green dominate, complemented by grey-green, light blue mist and a white-pink sky. Touches of rust brown and yellow-green keep the image warm. Blue follows the same composition but shifts towards blue-green and grey-blue. The yellow recedes and the whole becomes cooler, making the mountains seem further away. Choose Smeraldo if you are looking for the rich green of a forest, or Blue if you want a quieter, misty wall that brings calm to a room with plenty of light.

Inkiostro Bianco wallpaper as a painting on the wall

In the mood photo, the trees are metres tall and the landscape fills the wall above a low white cabinet. There it works like a large canvas that you look out on from the table. A dark wooden table, olive-green stools and orange vases pick up the colours from the image, while black pendant lights draw sharp lines in front of it. Viridian wallpaper looks its best on an uncluttered wall. You'll find more designs in the Materiaprima wallpaper collection.
