PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Kela wallpaper by INSTABILELAB with mirrored brushstrokes
Kela wallpaper brings wall-height panels full of dry brushstrokes to your wall. Each panel has a single mirrored motif of gently curved horizontal stripes that meet in the middle to form inverted V-shapes. At the top they sit close together. Further down they become thinner and sparser, until only loose strokes remain. Narrow vertical bands separate the panels and give the wall a steady rhythm. From a distance you mainly see movement. Up close you see the frayed edges of every stroke.
Colours and texture of Kela wallpaper
In colourway 01, warm grey strokes and bands sit on a sand-coloured background. The contrast is low, so the motif stays in the background until you deliberately look at it. The texture recalls dry paint dragged across paper, grainy and irregular, with spots where the brush was almost empty. The wall looks matt and soft, with a handmade character that pairs well with wood and beige textiles. The design is available in three colourways: 01, 02 and 03.
INSTABILELAB wallpaper in a bright living space
In the mood photo, Kela wallpaper by INSTABILELAB runs across two walls of a living space with a wooden slatted ceiling, a plank floor and a glass façade. The panels continue around the corner, so the walls read as one surface. Alongside the warm wood tones of the dining table and the low sofa, the design remains a calm presence and catches the side light beautifully.
