Martock Sprig wallpaper Mulberry

Martock Sprig wallpaper by Mulberry: dense sprigs with a linocut look

Martock Sprig wallpaper covers your wall with diagonally placed sprigs full of veined leaves and stems topped with round buds. In between sit small five-petalled flowers with a dotted centre, set so closely together that little background remains. The small motif repeats across the entire surface. From a distance you see a calm texture; up close, a wall full of detail. The shapes have the slightly mottled look of a linocut, with cut-away lines for the veins. This gives this Mulberry wallpaper a handcrafted feel without it ever becoming busy.

Colours of Martock Sprig wallpaper: Moss, Blue and more

In Moss, olive to sage green sits on a cream ground. This colour pairs beautifully with oak, natural linen, terracotta and warm white paintwork. Blue sets grey-blue against light beige. Combine it with off-white, grey natural stone and dark wood for a cooler, fresher wall. There are also the colourways Parchment, Aqua, Teal/Green and Red/Green. Each version works with two shades, so the overall look stays calm. That way you can choose curtains and cushions in a plain colour taken from the design.

Martock Sprig wallpaper in hallways, stairwells and bedrooms

Thanks to its small scale, this design also works where a large pattern would dominate: in a narrow hallway, along the stairs or in a bedroom with sloping walls. Paper all the walls and the room takes on an enveloping, country character. Choose a single wall and it forms an understated backdrop for paintings or a bookcase.
