Julia wallpaper by Sandberg with misty gypsophila

Julia wallpaper brings sprigs of gypsophila to your wall, like a photographic image in which a few twigs are in sharp focus and the rest fades into a soft haze. The little flowers sit mainly in the lower half. Above them, an empty, misty background opens up and gives the wall a sense of calm. The pattern is large and repeats, so you can cover an entire wall with it. A light paper texture with fine fibres and speckles makes the image soft and tactile, as if you were looking at an old print.

Colours of Julia wallpaper: Spring Green and Blush

In Spring Green, grey-green stems with white flowers stand against a light grey to greige background. This colour scheme calls for off-white, light oak and linen in natural or sage. Blush is warmer, with reddish-brown stems and white-pink flowers on a cream to soft pink ground. Combine this colourway with lime paint in dusty pink or sand, walnut, travertine and terracotta. Both versions remain muted, so they pair well with matt metal and floors in a natural tone.

Where Sandberg wallpaper with gypsophila comes into its own

Because the branches sit low and the upper part stays empty, this Sandberg wallpaper works beautifully behind a headboard or above a low cabinet. The pattern begins where your eye rests and keeps the wall above it open. In a bedroom, a reading nook or a narrow hallway, Julia wallpaper brings calm without the wall looking bare.
