Marieberg wallpaper Sandberg

Marieberg wallpaper by Sandberg in blue on off-white

Marieberg wallpaper drapes leafy tendrils in arches across your wall, from top to bottom, with a loose, painterly touch. At the bottom, bouquets of roses and anemones answer them, with rising tendrils on either side. This creates panels that repeat side by side, with plenty of open background in between. The motifs are large, giving the wall a clear structure without making it busy. The result looks like a painted room: calm and airy, yet full of character.

Colours of Marieberg wallpaper: shades of blue on a light ground

The Blue colourway ranges from light greyish blue to deep indigo on a white to off-white ground. The watercolour style creates soft transitions in the leaves, so the blue never looks harsh. Combine it with lime white or a cool light grey on skirting boards and ceiling, and let light oak or bleached pine warm up the coolness a little. White or ecru linen, blue-and-white tableware and natural stone with grey veining all suit it well. A dark blue accent in textiles brings out the indigo in the design.

Sandberg wallpaper for the bedroom and other calm walls

Because of its panel layout, this design looks best on a continuous, uninterrupted wall, such as behind the bed in the bedroom or in a dining room where you face the wall. In a hallway, too, the arches give the wall rhythm. If you want the panels to fall exactly where you want them on your wall, ask about made-to-measure wallpaper. At Selected Wallpapers you can view Marieberg wallpaper by Sandberg alongside the rest of the Sandberg wallpaper collection, which is handy if you want to coordinate several rooms.
