Sakura Mural wallpaper with hanging cherry branches in pink

With Sakura Mural wallpaper, blossoming cherry branches hang down over your wall from above. Pink blossoms and closed buds sit closely together on grey twigs, and below them loose petals drift towards a large white area. That empty lower section creates calm: the motif plays out at the top, while the wall beneath stays light and open. The large motif is set up as a repeating pattern, so the branches continue across the full width. The painted watercolour look with softly bleeding edges keeps the image gentle.

Colours of Sakura Mural wallpaper by Sandberg

The Pink colourway combines a white background with pink and deep pink blossoms, grey branches and light grey leaves. Thanks to that grey, the pink stays understated and never sweet. On the other walls, an off-white or a soft shade of grey works well. Light oak and pale natural stone complement the cool tones. In textiles, you can bring back the deep pink in curtains or cushions in wool or linen. If you are looking for more contrast, choose a dark grey accent.

Sandberg wallpaper for walls and ceilings: where the cherry blossom works

Because the branches hang down from above, this Sandberg wallpaper is made for the upper part of a room. If you also hang it on the ceiling, the blossom closes above you like a roof and the branches hang down along the walls. In a living room, bedroom or children's room with sufficient height, this really comes into its own. The design is part of the Sandberg Edition wallpaper collection, which you can view in full at Selected Wallpapers.
