Fleurs wallpaper: painted plants on a wall-filling scale
Fleurs wallpaper sets long, slender stems against your wall, with tulip and crocus-like calyxes, hanging buds, poppies with seed heads and fan-shaped leaves that run down to the bottom edge. It's one wide panoramic image without repetition, so every metre of wall shows a different part of the composition. In the mood photo, the plants tower metres above two leather armchairs, and that's just the left section. This turns a high wall in a lobby or living room into one large painting.
Colours of Fleurs wallpaper: White and Black
The plants appear painted with watercolour or ink. Where the paint lies thicker, the shade deepens. At the edges it flows out in a watery way. Beneath lies a mottled background reminiscent of concrete, intersected with fine vertical lines like linen. In White, white and off-white silhouettes stand on light grey, with one bud in a soft pink-brown. Black draws the same flowers in dark grey to anthracite, more graphic and with much more contrast.
