PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pholia wallpaper by Wall & Deco: long leaves in hand-drawn ink
Pholia wallpaper brings long, narrow leaves to your wall, radiating in fans from a few points. Each leaf is filled with fine herringbone hatching, drawn in pen or ink, stroke by stroke. Where the leaves overlap, they shimmer through one another. This creates depth without the image becoming heavy. On the left and right, the bundles roughly mirror each other, giving the composition a sense of calm. Up close you see every drawn line; from a distance, a movement of leaves fanning across the wall.
Scale and colours of Pholia wallpaper
The design is one large image across the entire wall, with no small pattern repeat. At true scale, a single leaf easily measures one to one and a half metres, so the leaves sweep generously across your wall. Colour 01 has an off-white background with leaves in deep red and dusty pink. In between you will see terracotta orange, olive and grey-green, and the odd almost-black leaf. Colour 02 reverses this: a dark brown ground with mint and turquoise, complemented by blue-green, grey-mauve and beige.
Pholia wallpaper in a calm bathroom
In the mood photo, the design hangs in a bathroom with a green marble washbasin, a black-framed mirror and illuminated niches with vases. The green shades in the leaves are echoed in the marble, and the terracotta in the wooden shelf and the wicker basket. With this Wall & Deco wallpaper, one wall becomes the focal point — the rest of the room can stay calm. You can find more designs in the Wall & Deco wallpaper collection.
