Alter Ego wallpaper by Dedar: texture instead of pattern

Alter Ego wallpaper by Dedar is all about the surface itself. There's no flower, figure or pattern on the wall. What you see is texture, and it changes with the light. The collection features two designs with the same starting point: a textured appearance with a shimmering effect. One variant creates a warm wall reminiscent of raw silk. The other opts for light shades and a more graphic rhythm. So within one family you can choose between a wall that glows and a wall that is above all restful.

Designs in the Alter Ego wallpaper collection

Alter Ego Wall wallpaper is plain and has a fine horizontal stripe, like raw silk. In the photo the colour sits between copper brown and ochre, with a subtle sheen. In the stairwell shown, a thin brass handrail runs diagonally across the wall. An oval bronze holder with a face in relief supports it, above red-upholstered steps. The wallpaper stays in the background and lets the metal speak. Alter Ego Metallo W wallpaper is made from the same Alter Ego fabric. The mood photo shows a coarser, geometric relief: stepped rectangular blocks in staggered rows, off-white to light grey with dark speckles. Below it, lamps with ribbed glass shades hang from dark rods. They cast warm light onto the relief.

Choosing Dedar wallpaper: warm copper or light relief

The difference between the two designs lies in scale and colour. Wall works with a flat, fine stripe in one warm shade. The stairwell shows how well it combines with brass, bronze and deep red. Metallo W brings a geometric rhythm in light grey tones and pairs with wood and warm lamplight. With Alter Ego wallpaper you choose a wall that stands out through its texture.
