Amoir Libre Wall wallpaper collection Dedar

Amoir Libre Wall wallpaper by Dedar: moiré in green and champagne

With Amoir Libre Wall wallpaper you bring the flamed pattern of moiré to the wall on a large scale. Dedar makes this textile wall covering by hand and gives it a laminated effect. The waves are irregular and run like a watermark across the surface, with lighter and darker bands that gently blur at the edges. Beneath the pattern is a fine horizontal rib structure that catches the light. Because the repeat is random, you can freely apply the strips in different lengths. This means you won't see a fixed repetition rhythm on the wall.

Patterns in the Amoir Libre Wall wallpaper collection

The collection consists of two patterns with the same moiré motif. Amoir Libre Wall wallpaper is emerald to bottle green. The waves run predominantly horizontally and are large, tens of centimetres per wave, making the entire wall appear to come alive. The contrast between light green and dark green is clear and the surface has a subtle sheen. In the mood photo it hangs behind a console with a speckled granite top and a glossy metal base, topped by a lamp with a white shade. That cool metal contrasts sharply with the deep green. Amoir Libre Metallo Wall wallpaper opts for beige, greige and champagne with a metallic sheen. Here the flames run vertically, like wood grain: wide and vague on one side, narrow and close together on the other. The colour contrast is small, so the pattern becomes visible mainly when light sweeps across it.

The green pattern works well when it is allowed to be the focal point of the room, for example in a hallway or behind a console with sleek metal, as in the photo. If you want the wall to recede more, the Metallo version is the obvious choice. The light, glossy moiré creates calm and lets furniture and art take centre stage. Because both versions of this Dedar wallpaper have the same fine rib structure, you can combine them in adjacent spaces.
